Mini High Adventure Trip – July 17-July 20, 2014

Mount Hope, West Virginia

We will leave the Pool House at the Highland Heights Community Park around 11:00 AM on Thursday 7/17/14 and will return the evening of SUNDAY 7/20/14.  Parents are, as always, welcome to attend and drivers will be needed to transport Scouts.                                                                                                                                             

This trip is open to Scouts or Venturers of any age! The Summit is the BSA’s newest High Adventure Base and is the closest to Ohio. Activities offered include: boulder climbing, canopy tour, mountain bike trails, skate plaza, BMX course, water obstacle course, stand-up paddleboards, and zip-lines. Thursday and Sunday are travel days while Friday and Saturday are packed with fun challenging activities.

The cost for this trip is $235.00 per participant and includes all meals while at the Summit and use of a tent, a cot, and all programs. (If paid by 4/24/14, the cost is only $220 per participant)

All you need to pack is your clothes, swim suit, BSA Medical Form, and a sleeping bag.

I give permission to the leaders of the above unit to render First Aid, should the need arise and or to secure other medical treatment, as needed. I further agree to hold the above named unit and its leaders blameless for any accidents that might occur during this outing. I further agree that if the leaders feel it necessary to ask my child to leave Camp, due to the child’s misbehavior, lack of cooperation, or poor attitude, considered detrimental to the other participants, I will come and pick him up immediately upon being telephoned.
